A Little About the Owner...

Mainstyle Motors is a family-owned, Adelaide-born Mercedes-only specialist service and repair workshop in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. Our reputation for honesty and value for money dates back to 1959 when father Ken Adams established the family business.

Mainstyle’s early years held focus towards spare parts, which later evolved into a European vehicle dismantling and spare parts business. Ken’s son Jason Adams grew up with Mercedes in the family, having oil in his veins. He soon fell in love with the engineering excellence, comfort and speed of Mercedes-Benz automobiles.

Father and son have both owned a range of Mercedes, dating back to Ken’s first new 1969 250s Mercedes. Jason has been a member of the Mercedes car club for over 20 years, assisting club members with parts and service as well as dismantling many older Mercedes for spare parts.

With over 35 years’ experience in the automotive industry, you can rest assured that you’re leaving your vehicle in Jason’s very capable hands. Not only does he knows Mercedes through and through but he thoroughly believes in the company’s quality, excellence and reliability in all aspects.

Jason followed in his father’s footsteps of friendly personal caring service towards each and every client.1990 saw the company seize the opportunity and establish the workshop which coincided with the Mercedes spare parts aspect of the business and in turn rejuvenated the Mainstyle name.
